Emerald Software Group, a leading supplier of business process driven workforce management solutions, announces today the promotion of
two company executives.
Jay Torrence has been promoted to Vice President of Client Services. Jay's previous role was as Director of Professional Services.
In his new role, Jay assumes responsibility for all aspects of customer services, including professional services, customer support,
and client satisfaction. Jay has more than 10 years of experience as a human resources technology professional and joined Emerald
Software Group in January of 2007. His previous experience includes HRIS roles at The North American Mission Board, ChoicePoint, and
William M. Mercer, Inc. Jay is a member of IHRIM, the American Payroll Association, and the AeA.
Patrick Caldwell has been promoted to Vice President of Research & Development. Patrick's previous role was as Director of R&D.
In his new role, Patrick assumes responsibility for strategic research and product development, lifecycle management of the company's
commercial products, and for customer development in support of client services. Patrick joined Emerald Software Group June of 2006
after having worked as a software engineer for Duke Medical Center. Patrick is a Toastmaster, an avid pilot, and a member of the AeA.
