AllegroHR Suite's Staff Service Request (SSR), is the world's only life-cycle requisitioning
application designed for the specific needs of human capital and workforce management. SSR
allows your managers to requisition items for their employees as early as the approval and creation of the open position,
and for the life of that position; most "provisioning" systems are features of the onboarding system that only allow managers to request
items during the new employee's onboarding process.
With SSR, you can define any number of items to requisition. Items can
be tangible items-such as desks, chairs, and computers-and they can be intangible items-such as network accounts, an
email address, or a drug test. Items can be defined as position-based or person-based, controlling whether the manager is
allowed to requisition the item for a position that is presently not filled; hence your managers may requisition an office
with furniture as soon as the position is created, and once the position has been filled they can requisition the employee's badge.
Items are associated with business processes. One process may be defined to fulfill a request, while another process is defined
to cancel a request, and yet a third to recall an item (say upon an employee's termination). SSR
integrates readily with backend systems, including IT systems for requesting computer equipment and access, as well as Active
Directory or LDAP for provisioning network access, and Identity Management systems for reporting, tracking, and managing access rights.
